What powpond.com does

• Connecting is always optional. You can read everything without a wallet.
• When you connect, the site reads your public address, your POW count and your APE balance. That is all public blockchain data.
• Visiting a pond only reads the public blockchain data for the address in the link. Anyone can already see that data, and nothing is saved.
• Everything runs in your browser. We don’t have accounts, passwords or a database of users.

What it never does

• Ask for your seed phrase or private key. Nobody from POW ever will.
• Ask you to sign a message or approve a transaction. powpond.com can only read.
• Ask for token approvals or permission to move your POWs or APE.
• Load scripts from other websites. The site only runs its own code.

• Check the address bar. The main site is www.powpond.com (powpond.com sends you there) and the Hatchery is hatchery.powpond.com, and the Wishing Pond game is wishingpond.powpond.com. Those two are separate sites where your wallet will ask you to confirm things like claims, tosses and hatching; only confirm what you understand. Anything else is not us.
• Only trust links from this site and our official X account. We never DM first.
• Read what your wallet shows before approving anything. On the Hatchery you may be asked to confirm a transaction. That is the only place.
• You can review and cancel old approvals any time at revoke.cash.
