What is POW?
POW is an NFT collection on ApeChain about five frogs looking for a new pond. Read the story in the lore.
How many POWs are there?
3,333 POWs, each one with one of 24 skins.
What is ApeChain?
ApeChain is the blockchain POW lives on. Learn more at apechain.com.
Do I need a wallet to look around?
No. You can browse this whole site without one. A wallet is only needed to mint, hatch, or see your own POWs.
Minting
How do I get a POW?
Mint from the drop on Blever, or buy one from a holder on OpenSea.
How much does it cost?
22 APE plus Blever fees. Blever is the platform that runs the mint and it charges its own fees on top of the price.
Which wallet and token do I need?
A wallet that supports ApeChain, with enough APE on ApeChain to cover the price and fees.
Hatching
What is an egg?
Every POW starts as an egg. It doesn’t become a POW until it hatches.
How do I hatch it?
Go to the Hatchery, connect the wallet that holds your egg and follow the steps.
My POW still looks like an egg on a marketplace.
Marketplaces can be slow to refresh. Wait a little, then use the refresh metadata option on the item’s page.
Safety
Is powpond.com safe to connect to?
Yes. This site is read-only: it never asks you to sign or approve anything. See Safety for details.
What is the Wishing Pond?
A separate site where POW holders claim a Ruby Relic and toss it into the Wishing Pond to receive a prize voucher, which will be claimable. Read how it works in Wishing Pond. Unlike this site, it does ask your wallet to confirm claims and tosses, so check the address is wishingpond.powpond.com.
What should I watch out for?
Nobody from POW will ever ask for your seed phrase or private key, and we never DM first. If a wallet asks you to approve spending or moving your NFTs, stop and ask in Discord. Always check the address bar.
About the site
Can I look at someone else's POWs?
Yes. Paste any wallet address into Visit a pond to see its POWs and skin collection. It only reads public blockchain data, and nobody needs to connect a wallet. Holders can share their own pond page from My Pond.
Can I add the site to my home screen?
Yes. On Android and desktop Chrome, use the Add Powpond to your home screen button at the bottom of any page. On iPhone, open the site in Safari, tap the Share button, then Add to Home Screen. It then opens like an app.
What can I do with my POWs here?
Connect to see them in My Pond, collect all 24 skins, share your collection, play games and make wallpapers.
